Alexander Cools-Lartigue


Alexander is a Partner and the Head of our Conveyancing and Estate Departments. He was admitted to practise law in 1988 and has considerable experience acting in real estate transactions, mortgages, leases, land registration and estate administration. Alexander had made a name for himself based on his years of handing complex commercial real estate transactions within the corporate area and the rest of the island. 

He possesses a wealth of knowledge especially in the area of real estate developments, having played a material role in the implementation of several projects across the island. Alexander also acts on behalf of clients requiring the modification of restrictive covenants and has a significant amount of experience in making applications to the Supreme Court for the modification and discharge of these covenants.

Alexander is proud of his accessibility to his clients and gives each transaction the time and focus it deserves. Alexander’s diligence, exemplary service, and high degree of legal expertise has created a strong conveyancing practice with many reputable clients.

He is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association (JAMBAR) and sits on the Association’s Conveyancing Committee.
