Houston was admitted to practice in Jamaica in 2018, and joined the firm’s Litigation Department in 2024. Her practice spans a broad range of civil and commercial litigation, including insurance [defence], personal injury, negligence claims, corporate governance and property disputes.
She has represented major companies, insurers, and private individuals before both the Supreme Court and Parish Courts of Jamaica, and is known for her meticulous, strategic, and results-focused approach to advocacy. In addition to advocacy, Houston is skilled in mediation and settlement negotiations, regularly assisting parties to resolve complex matters efficiently, pragmatically, and with sensitivity to commercial realities.
A proud graduate of the Montego Bay High School, Houston holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of the West Indies and is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association. Outside of the courtroom, Houston enjoys reading, travelling, and spending time in nature.
