Called to the Bar in December 2022, Jaquan joined the firm as an Associate in July 2025 and is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. His practice spans a broad range of commercial and civil litigation matters including family law, contract law, estates and property disputes, employment law, public law, and personal injury.
Before entering private practice, Jaquan served as a Judicial Counsel at the Supreme Court of Judicature of Jamaica, where he developed a strong foundation in legal research, writing, and the resolution of complex legal issues in constitutional, civil and commercial matters. This experience continues to inform his analytical, strategic, and solutions-driven approach to advocacy.
Jaquan is certified in Data Protection and has prior legal experience in telecommunications, public procurement, and systematic land registration.
A proud Jamaica College Old Boy, Jaquan is guided by the school’s motto “Fervet Opus in Campis” which means: “work is burning in the field” and reflects his relentless work ethic and commitment to excellence. Known for his personable and socially conscious manner, he maintains an active interest in current affairs and, outside of practice, enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends.
