Licea-Ann Smith


Licea-Ann is a Partner in the firm’s Conveyancing and Estate Departments having joined the Firm in September 2003. She has gained significant knowledge and experience from representing clients in many varied transactions and currently handles transactions on behalf of one of Jamaica’s leading residential property developers.

She has garnered significant experience in the sale and purchase of real estate and has had to resolve many complex issues during the process of such transactions. Her practice spans the wide range of land related matters and she also attends Court on behalf of clients in respect of applications to modify restrictive covenants which have been breached.

Licea-Ann is also responsible for matters involving estate planning and the administration of deceased persons’ estates with the aim of preparing those documents which are important to achieving the clients’ goals. She has successfully assisted clients in obtaining Grants of Probate and Letters of Administration in their loved ones’ estates and has assisted in making applications to the Court to admit copy wills to Probate and applications under the Mental Health Act.

Licea-Ann is the firm’s representative with the Jamaica Developers Association and is the Jamaica Developers Association’s representative with the Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ). She is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association (JAMBAR) and is currently an associate tutor in the Probate: Practice and Procedure course at the Norman Manley Law School.
