M. Maurice Manning, KC, is a Partner and the Head of the Litigation Department where his core areas of practice are commercial and civil litigation. He has advocacy experience at all levels of the Jamaican judicial system, including at the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, the Supreme Court of Jamaica and the Court of Appeal. He was accorded the status of King’s Counsel in 2020 after demonstrating decades of high quality advocacy in areas such as receiverships and insolvency mortgage claims and foreclosure, banking and commercial litigation, arbitration of construction contracts, intellectual property disputes, negligence, personal injury, and insurance Claims.

Maurice is ranked among the top tier of attorneys in Jamaica by Chambers Global Guide Ranking and he was lead counsel or co-counsel in the following landmark cases:
