Peta-Gaye Sandford


Peta-Gaye is an Associate within our firm’s Commercial Department, and she embodies a legacy of scholarly excellence and unwavering commitment. Her journey commenced at the University of the West Indies (UWI), where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors from CARIMAC in 2013. This foundational achievement paved the way for her subsequent postgraduate pursuits where in 2019, she attained a Master of Laws Degree in Intellectual Property Law from UWI.

Continuing her ascent, Peta-Gaye enrolled at the Faculty of Law, Mona, where she distinguished herself with a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honors in 2021. Her legal acumen flourished, and she further honed her skills at the Norman Manley Law School, culminating in the acquisition of her Legal Education Certificate in 2023.

During her academic sojourn, Peta-Gaye assumed pivotal roles. As the Direct Entrant Representative at the Faculty of Law, she championed the student body’s interests during the 2020-2021 Academic Year. Subsequently, she served as the Seminar Representative for her Seminar Group at the Norman Manley Law School during the 2022-2023 Academic Year.

Her unwavering commitment to legal excellence is further underscored by her recent admission as an Attorney-at-Law in Jamaica in 2024.  Within our firm, Peta-Gaye lends her expertise to critical committees, including the Data Protection and Proceeds of Crime domains. She is a member of the Jamaican Bar Association (JAMBAR), where she actively contributes to the Intellectual Property Committee. Beyond her professional pursuits, Peta-Gaye finds solace in culinary artistry—a testament to her multifaceted nature. She cherishes moments spent with her cherished family, weaving a tapestry of balance and fulfilment.
