Trevor DeLeon


Trevor joined the Law Firm, Desnoes Lyons and Lee (a predecessor to this firm) in 1960 as an Articled Clerk and after five years of articling, was admitted to practise as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Jamaica in 1965 and thereafter as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England.

He has over 50 years’ experience at the Jamaican Bar and his years as a practitioner have earned him the recognition of being one of Jamaica’s leading Real Estate Attorneys. He has steered the firm’s involvement in several major Real Estate Developments including: -Braeton Housing Development, Phases 6 and 7 – Braeton, Newtown, Saint Catherine, Industry Pen, Saint Mary, and Michigan Estate Housing Development, Saint Andrew.

He is an active member of a number of corporate boards including British Caribbean Insurance Company Limited of which he is the Deputy Chairman, and he has sat on the Conveyancing Committee of the Jamaican Bar Association for many years. He is also a Notary Public for the island of Jamaica.
